Complete or leave the current activity, travel elsewhere, and return after the region has reset. Before you go Reach an overworld region with Phase Beasts. Complete the current challenge or be ready to leave it. Have another area or activity available while the map resets. Find and defeat a Phase Beast in the current overworld instance. Enter and complete its challenge, collecting the available reward. Leave the region and travel through other areas or content. Return to the original region and inspect whether its overworld map has repopulated. If a new Phase Beast is present, defeat it to open another randomly selected challenge. If the map has not reset, continue other content and check again later. Farming tips A newly spawned beast can open a different challenge from that region’s pool. Confirm the region has reset rather than assuming a short trip or a town visit guarantees it. Repeat, collect and use Repeat after overworld resets. The beast’s challenge draw is random, and no exact reset timer or portal type is guaranteed.
Common mistakes Expecting the same challenge to return; each spawn can select another activity. Waiting at the unchanged instance; travel elsewhere and verify the reset on return. Treating the loop as a way to force a specific chest reward; use it for varied challenges. When to stop or switch Stop cycling if the region does not reset or the challenges no longer suit your build; pursue Mapworks or other endgame content instead.
