Each Mapworks scroll is a repeatable level with its own monster set, and the route ends in a boss encounter. The boss and reward area provide a clear completion goal for each map purchase. Exact chest contents are random, so regard this as a dependable end-of-map collection step rather than a guaranteed source of a particular item. Choose a scroll you can finish, then clear the route and inspect every reward before leaving.
Before you go Complete the campaign and unlock Mapworks. Purchase a scroll suited to your current level and build. Have enough supplies and inventory space for the run. Select a Mapworks scroll and note its level and monster set. Enter its portal and clear the floors toward the final encounter. Collect useful drops along the route and use town access or inventory management as needed. Reach the boss area and defeat the final encounter. Inspect the boss area and open the available reward chest or reward containers. Compare the loot with your current equipment, then leave and decide whether to buy another scroll. Farming tips Do not buy a map beyond what your character can clear; the chest is useful only if you reach it. Check the map’s level and monster set before entry because maps vary. Repeat, collect and use Repeat by purchasing another Mapworks scroll. Chest contents are randomized and the scroll costs gold.
Common mistakes Leaving after the boss without opening the reward chest; check the room before exiting. Expecting the same chest item from each map; contents are not guaranteed. Ignoring map level and getting defeated before completion; choose a suitable scroll. When to stop or switch Stop after collecting the reward if the map is too dangerous or the loot no longer improves your build; switch to a more appropriate scroll.
