Mapworks scrolls connect Contract progression with repeatable campaign dungeon content. They are reward opportunities shown on Contract tracks, not a guaranteed payout for every objective. When a track offers one, complete the listed objectives and claim it, then use the scroll when you want to open a Mapworks route. The resulting portal lets you revisit campaign dungeon and boss content for general loot chances. This is a limited resource loop governed by the available Contract rewards and scrolls you have collected.
Confirm that a Mapworks scroll is among the available rewards.
Have campaign progress sufficient for Mapworks content.
Open the Contract interface and inspect the current reward track for a Mapworks scroll.
Select objectives that advance the listed Contract, not unrelated enemy farming.
Complete each required objective and return to claim the scroll from the reward track.
Open your inventory and locate the claimed scroll.
Use it through the game’s Mapworks interaction to open an available dungeon route.
Enter the portal, clear the route and boss, then collect useful drops.
Farming tips
Claim the scroll before planning a portal run; do not assume an unclaimed reward is already usable.
Save it for a route you are ready to complete, since portal runs are dungeon commitments.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat when a Contract track offers another scroll and you complete its conditions; scroll availability is not guaranteed each time.
Common mistakes
Assuming every Contract pays a scroll: verify the reward before investing effort.
Expecting nearby enemy kills to advance Contract rewards: follow the objectives shown for that Contract.
