Endgame boss access is a progression resource, so preparation means collecting the required entry items and checking that the character can handle the encounter. Ordinary map clears alone do not prove boss readiness. Use familiar regional fights to identify damage or survival problems, and keep enough entry resources for more than a single attempt when the route allows it.
Before you go Advance Netherrealm until the relevant boss route or invitation is available. Collect the entry items shown by the boss interface. Have a build with functioning damage and survival setup. Read the boss interface to confirm the current entry requirement and encounter difficulty. Choose a regional map route whose boss you can defeat reliably. Run the route and collect the displayed boss-entry resources. Keep a reserve for another attempt if the encounter consumes entry items. Review your gear and skill setup for the specific damage or survival issue you have observed. Enter when you can focus on mechanics instead of testing an unfinished loadout. After the attempt, identify one concrete failure cause and address it before spending more entries. Farming tips Use the encounter’s own requirements rather than relying on a remembered cost from another difficulty or season. Study successful replays when available, then adapt positioning to your own hero and range. Common mistakes Entering with only one attempt’s resources: build a reserve when possible so a learning loss does not end the session. Assuming map damage proves boss damage: test a familiar boss and improve prolonged fight output if needed.
