Prison management is a preparation activity: arrange inmates around their consumption relationships, then adapt when incidents or instruments alter the available actions. The final Riot uses the prisoners you have developed, so the prison phase is both a progression puzzle and a preview of the fight you are building toward. Read the current interface before each choice because events can change what is possible.
Before you go Unlock Tartarus Season 14 and collect Prisoner Nameplates. Have inmates available for the cell management cycle. Review the currently displayed incident and instrument effects. Place captured inmates in cells and inspect the consumption relationships shown by the prison interface. Use the displayed cycle: Mammoth consumes Lion, Lion consumes Wolf, Wolf consumes Colossal Rat, and Colossal Rat consumes Mammoth. Choose a matchup that develops the prisoner you intend to strengthen, rather than selecting by creature name alone. After each consumption, reread the cell state and available actions before planning the next move. Review Prison Incidents for changes to cell access or consumption opportunities. Check Torture Instrument effects alongside the current roster and revise the plan if they change an action. Continue developing inmates with the eventual Riot in mind. Farming tips The cycle is circular; no single creature type is a universal endpoint. Follow the relationship printed for the current matchup. Treat Chromatic development as a prison target, not a guarantee from any single interaction. Repeat, collect and use Prison development continues through the seasonal sentence and available actions; each cycle is limited by the current prison state and season rules.
Common mistakes Following a memorized sequence after an incident changes actions: reread the current prison display. Choosing an inmate only because it is stronger now: consider which prisoner can consume it next. When to stop or switch Stop developing the roster when the interface indicates the Riot is ready or when the remaining actions no longer support your intended development.
