WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Character loot-filter options while preparing for Netherrealm runs.
A loot filter changes which drops are emphasized for you to notice; it does not raise their drop rate. Set it around the item bottleneck you are currently solving, such as a gear base or a seasonal material, and revise it when that need changes. A filter is useful only when it reduces clutter without hiding items your build still needs.
Before you go Unlock or open the in-game loot filter controls. Choose a specific current target, such as gear bases or season materials. Know which item classes and tiers matter to your next upgrade. Open the loot-filter settings before starting a mapping session. Select the item categories relevant to the bottleneck you identified. Set the display emphasis so those items are easy to distinguish during combat. Run a map and confirm the filter highlights the intended drops. Pick up and inspect relevant items after the encounter rather than stopping repeatedly mid-fight. Adjust the filter if it hides a needed base or displays too much unrelated loot. Change the target and filter settings when the character moves to another upgrade phase. Farming tips Keep useful crafting supplies visible if you plan to craft with them, even when FE is your longer-term goal. A filter organizes attention; it cannot make a rare item or currency drop more often. Repeat, collect and use Filter setup can be reused and revised for each farming goal; it does not consume resources or produce items itself.
Common mistakes Filtering too narrowly and missing a needed item class: test the settings on a map and broaden when appropriate. Leaving an old goal active after upgrading: update the filter to match the next bottleneck. When to stop or switch Stop adjusting once relevant drops are visible and ordinary map play is not interrupted by excess pickup decisions.
