WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Arcanum Passage device in Joltville, Domain 9.
The Arcanum Passage device in Joltville uses eight lantern symbols. First identify which lanterns remain unlit, then use the central pressure plate to reveal their order. Read the symbols from bottom to top and activate them in sequence. Completing the pattern unlocks the passage’s transmission function, turning the puzzle into a useful exploration connection.
Locate an Arcanum Passage device with its eight lantern symbols.
Be able to interact with the central pressure plate and lanterns.
Approach the device and inspect all eight lantern symbols.
Identify the lanterns that remain unlit rather than activating already completed patterns.
Stand on the central pressure plate to reveal the required order.
Read the revealed symbols from the bottom upward.
Match the first symbol in that sequence to the corresponding lantern.
Activate the remaining lanterns in the same bottom-to-top order.
Use the device after the pattern is complete and confirm transmission is unlocked.
Farming tips
Write down or mentally track the order before stepping away from the pressure plate.
If the sequence fails, inspect which lanterns are still unlit and reveal the order again rather than guessing.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a one-time puzzle unlock for the device. You can use the transmission function afterward, but solving the lantern sequence is not a repeatable material farm.
Common mistakes
Reading the symbols top to bottom: follow the bottom-to-top order shown by the pressure plate.
Activating lanterns without checking their state: focus on the unlit symbols.
Assuming the passage transmits before activation: finish the sequence and confirm the unlock first.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the device confirms transmission is available; continue exploring Domain 9 or use the newly opened passage as a travel link.
