Where to farm

Start from the dish rather than the farm. Read its ingredient list, identify what can be harvested from crops or livestock, and then use produce shops or forage as appropriate to fill remaining gaps. Farm batches are useful for repeated menu items, while purchases are a practical way to complete a recipe when your own source is unavailable. Because seasonal crops and fruit do not offer a constant supply, keep the menu tied to ingredients you can actually replenish.

Open the recipe information for the dish and write down every named ingredient.
For each ingredient, identify whether your farm, animal building, forage or vendor is the practical source.
Check the season before planning to grow vegetables, grain or fruit for a recurring dish.
Collect ready farm and animal output, then place it in kitchen storage.
Visit the appropriate produce shop in Rilia for missing ingredients that can be bought there.
