Where to farm
Season 12 Chaos Dungeon for equipment progression and Traces of Time; Researcher Dewey in Saluto for Zodiac Stone management.
Use this as a session-planning method rather than a separate Chaos Dungeon farm. Pick a dungeon tier you can complete reliably for your current equipment needs, then treat the Traces of Time event as a second objective when it appears. The event provides Zodiac Stones and Emotions; the Stones are managed through Researcher Dewey in Saluto, and Emotions are used for Zodiac Stone engraving. This lets you make progress on equipment and Zodiac systems during the same play session without assuming specific gear drops, event timing, or reward quantities. The two goals have different outputs, so decide which one matters most before spending resources to guarantee an event.
Chaos Dungeon access and a tier your character can clear consistently.
Inventory room for equipment and event rewards.
Memory Rune (Time) and Chaos Points only if you choose to guarantee Traces of Time.
Access to Researcher Dewey in Saluto to process Zodiac rewards.
Set a specific equipment goal, such as finding an upgrade for a slot, and choose a dungeon tier that lets you finish runs reliably.
Decide whether equipment or Zodiac progress is the session priority; only plan a guaranteed event if Zodiac rewards justify the Chaos Point spend.
Enter the Chaos Dungeon and progress through it, completing Traces of Time if it appears or if you activated its guaranteed option.
Defeat the event monsters and collect the Zodiac Stones and Emotions they grant.
Complete the dungeon and review equipment drops against the upgrade goal you chose.
Return to Saluto, sort the equipment, then use Researcher Dewey to manage Stones and apply Emotions to a Zodiac Stone when appropriate.
Farming tips
Keep only gear that advances a real slot or build need; a cluttered inventory makes the paired session harder to manage.
If the dungeon tier slows reliable clears, lower it before the next run so equipment progress does not crowd out the Zodiac objective.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable through Chaos Dungeons. Traces of Time may occur randomly; guaranteeing it consumes Memory Rune (Time) and Chaos Points. Neither equipment upgrades nor particular event rewards are assured per run.
Common mistakes
Treating every run as equally good for both goals: choose a priority first, then assess whether the other objective is worth the time or resource cost.
Leaving Zodiac rewards unprocessed: take Stones to Researcher Dewey and use Emotions through the engraving interface.
Spending Chaos Points automatically: check your balance and current Zodiac need before selecting the guaranteed-event option.
When to stop or switch
Stop the combined session when the equipment slot is upgraded or the Zodiac milestone is reached. If one goal remains while the other is complete, switch to a focused activity for that remaining goal.
