WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Rune Cast Preset menu.
Rune Cast Presets help you switch back to a saved skill and link configuration without rebuilding every slot manually. The feature searches the character's available rune holdings, including Compendium, Storage, and Inventory, according to the recorded current behavior. Runes that were sold or belong to another character cannot be loaded, so check ownership before relying on a preset for an expensive activity. Save a configuration that you understand, load it from the preset menu, then inspect every slot and link before entering combat.
Before you go Have a saved Rune Cast configuration. Keep the required runes on the character in eligible holdings such as Compendium, Storage, or Inventory. Have access to the character's Rune Cast setup. Open Rune Cast and save the configuration you want to preserve, if not already saved. Open the Rune Cast Preset menu and select the intended preset. Allow the system to search eligible runes held by this character. Review the resulting skill and link slots after loading. Check for empty or mismatched slots where a required rune could not be found. Move a missing rune onto the character from an eligible holding, then retry if appropriate. Enter the next activity only after confirming the active setup matches your intended build. Farming tips Keep the runes required by a preset available to the same character before switching builds. Inspect every slot after loading; a preset does not make unavailable or sold runes usable. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable whenever you have saved presets and the runes they require remain available to the character.
Common mistakes Assuming a preset can retrieve sold runes: reacquire the rune before expecting the slot to fill. Expecting runes on another character to load: place the needed rune with the character using the preset. Entering a costly activity without checking the loaded configuration: inspect empty slots and links first. When to stop or switch Stop once all intended rune slots are populated and the active configuration is verified; switch to manual setup if a required rune is unavailable.
