WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Civilian clothing loot, construction sites, harbors, or a fishing activity on the selected map.
Cloth can be obtained by salvaging most clothing items, found directly at construction sites and harbors, or acquired while fishing. The simplest loop is to collect garments you do not need, convert them through crafting and store the resulting material. Treat direct loot as a possible source, not a guaranteed spawn, and keep useful clothing equipped instead of dismantling it.
Spare clothing suitable for salvage, or a route to a supported direct-loot location.
Inventory space for garments and Cloth.
A Cloth crafting or storage purpose.
Check your current clothing and retain the pieces needed for protection or other use.
Search civilian buildings for surplus garments, or visit a construction site or harbor for a chance at direct Cloth loot.
If fishing is already part of your activity, keep any Cloth obtained from it rather than discarding it.
Return to a safe crafting area with spare clothing and open the crafting interface.
Select the salvage conversion for the clothing item and confirm the input before crafting.
Collect the Cloth output and store it separately from equipment you still wear.
Use the stored material for the recipe you planned, or repeat the collection when more is needed.
Farming tips
Salvage only clothing you have replaced or do not intend to use.
A focused harbor or construction search can complement clothing salvage if you are nearby.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat by gathering spare clothing and salvaging it, or by checking supported direct sources. This depends on loot and spare garments; it is not an unlimited production process.
Common mistakes
Salvaging equipped or useful clothing: keep your needed gear intact.
Assuming every harbor contains Cloth: loot varies, so retain salvage as the dependable alternative.
Leaving Cloth behind while fishing: check the catch and inventory before departing.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the planned recipe has enough Cloth or when only useful clothing remains; switch to another material gathering task.
