WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Craft components aboard the train; attach the wagon at a depot trackside building console.
The second wagon is a depot-only construction. Gather and craft its exact component list aboard the train, then use the trackside console to attach the frame and add floor tiles so the new platform can hold structures.
Before you go Smelter, Workbench, and Laboratory access. Four iron ingots, two springs, two bolts, two bearings, and eight wood. Fat and chemicals for the Laboratory grease step. Gather scrap and wood, then smelt enough scrap to make four iron ingots. At the Workbench, craft two springs and two bolts using the displayed recipes. Collect fat from suitable Void wildlife and keep chemicals for Laboratory processing. Use the Laboratory recipe to turn fat and chemicals into grease, then craft two bearings at the Workbench. Keep eight wood unspent for the new platform floor. At a depot, interact with the trackside console and select the platform upgrade. Lay eight wood floor tiles on the attached frame before placing stations. Farming tips Check each crafted component in storage before leaving for the depot. Empty wagon frames cannot hold stations until you install floor tiles. Repeat, collect and use This is a one-time preparation loop for the second wagon; later wagon recipes may differ, so check their displayed requirements.
Common mistakes Trying to add the platform while traveling; expansion uses the depot console. Forgetting grease in the bearing chain; prepare it at the Laboratory from fat and chemicals. Spending the floor wood on fuel or other building; reserve eight before docking. When to stop or switch Stop farming these exact inputs once the frame is attached and floored; switch to the next upgrade’s displayed recipe.
