PC / Global, live game and owned DLC
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A randomly selected mission in an active Void Crusade; check the current run’s map and mission encounters.

The Wandering Servoskull appears in a randomly selected mission early in a Void Crusade. Find and defeat it to pursue its key reward, then choose a final locked cache that fits your needs. Its location is not fixed to Amber or another single route, and the encounter can escape or self-destruct if you delay after finding it.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Five same-color Void Shards to start a Crusade.
  • A build able to clear the route missions and pursue the encounter.
  • A plan for the final cache type you want the extra key to open.
  1. Start a Void Crusade and review the map as new missions become available.
  2. Check mission encounters during the early route for the Wandering Servoskull; its location varies by run.
  3. When you find its mission, prioritize locating the Servoskull rather than leaving it for later.
  4. Engage and defeat it promptly before it escapes or self-destructs.
  5. Collect mission rewards and verify whether the key was added to your Crusade rewards.
  6. Continue to Supreme while collecting Info Fragments if you want to identify final cache contents.
  7. At the final reward room, spend the key on a specialized cache that matches your chosen reward target.

Farming tips

  • Search the active Crusade rather than relying on a memorized mission number or color-specific route.
  • Act immediately once the Servoskull is located; a delayed fight can lose the key opportunity.

Repeat, collect and use

The encounter can be pursued on each new Crusade, but its mission location varies and the key depends on defeating it. Do not assume the key is guaranteed in every run.

Common mistakes

  • Searching only Amber: the Servoskull can spawn in a random Crusade mission.
  • Delaying after finding it: engage promptly to prevent escape or self-destruction.
  • Spending the key without considering cache contents: use fragment information when available and match the cache to your goal.

When to stop or switch

Stop searching once the Servoskull is defeated or when further searching would put Supreme completion at risk; use the earned key at the final room if available.
