Where to farm
Void Crusade map, connecting missions, and the Supreme mission.
Use this approach when your priority is reaching the Supreme mission and collecting its available loot without fully clearing the map. Each Crusade has its own layout, so treat a route as a map-specific plan rather than assuming every color shares the same path.

A build that can finish the chosen missions at their selected difficulty.
A route for the matching Crusade color, or a map plan you can read in game.
Choose a Crusade color for which you have five matching shards, then enter its map.
Inspect the mission connections and identify a short route toward the Supreme mission.
Favor reachable chest nodes and any mission that provides a key needed for a chest you intend to open.
Complete the connecting missions in order; check the map after each one to confirm what has opened.
Pick up any chest or key that lies on the route instead of backtracking for an isolated reward.
Start the Supreme mission once your planned detours are complete.
Finish the mission, enter the final reward area, and claim the Supreme chest plus any locked chests for which you have keys.

The fastest route sacrifices optional missions and some extra rewards; decide your target before starting.
Use the final map and your inventory to confirm which chests you can open before spending a key.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever you can assemble five shards of one color. Each run consumes its entry shards; shard returns and chest contents are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Following a route for another Crusade color: verify the map color before using a route plan.
Taking every visible detour by habit: choose a chest or progression goal first so the run stays short.
Arriving with no key for locked chests: plan around the keys you expect to earn and claim the open Supreme chest regardless.
When to stop or switch
Stop detouring when the next optional node does not serve your selected chest or key goal; continue to Supreme and switch to shard farming when you cannot fund another run.
