Crusades consume five shards of one color. Build a sustainable cycle by tracking the color you intend to run, applying a shard-oriented modifier when available, and checking actual mission rewards. Early runs may not return enough shards to fund the next one, so include regular missions in the plan.
This is an ongoing loop. Each Crusade costs five matching entry shards, and rewards do not promise that every run funds another of the same color.
Stop the shard loop when you have five for the chosen color; switch to a different color only when its Crusade is your next target.
