Before you go
- Complete the main story.
- Acquire at least one Core Orb.
- Select a weapon whose Inherited Skill option is available.
Farming steps
- Confirm that the main story is complete and a Core Orb has been acquired.
- Visit the Forge and open the selected weapon’s Limit Break interface.
- Choose the Inherited Skill option.
- Review the available change and the materials shown for it.
- Gather any listed materials through their corresponding in-game sources.
- Return to the same interface and verify the selected weapon and skill change.
- Confirm the change and inspect the weapon afterward.
- If the option is missing, verify both unlock conditions before searching for other causes.
- Read the displayed cost before confirming; do not assume every change uses the same materials.
Repeat, collect and use
Changes are available whenever the interface offers them and you meet the displayed requirements; each change consumes its listed materials.
Common mistakes
- Trying before story completion: finish the main story first.
- Having completed the story but no Core Orb: obtain one from a successful Volatile hunt.
- Confirming without checking the material cost: gather the displayed requirements before applying a change.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the desired skill is active, or return to material gathering if the Forge shows a cost you cannot yet meet.
