Inherited Skills can be changed through the weapon’s Limit Break interface once both prerequisites are met: finish the main story and acquire a first Core Orb. The May patch confirms this unlock condition. From there, inspect the weapon’s skill options and the materials displayed before committing. This is a customization step, not a farming route on its own: if the option is still locked, complete the progression gates first; if it is available, plan the material cost and make the desired change at the Forge.
Changes are available whenever the interface offers them and you meet the displayed requirements; each change consumes its listed materials.
Stop once the desired skill is active, or return to material gathering if the Forge shows a cost you cannot yet meet.
