Weapon upgrade interface at the Forge after Limit Break progression is available.
Limit Break is a Forge upgrade for improving a weapon’s attributes with Core Orbs. The available enhancement and its material cost are shown for the individual weapon, so inspect the item you intend to keep using before spending regional hunt rewards. Core Orbs primarily come from successful Volatile hunts, and their type depends on the hunt region. Gather the matching type, return to the Forge, and apply the enhancement only after checking that the weapon is the one you want to invest in.

Confirm the weapon and cost again, then apply the enhancement.

Farming tips
Compare weapons before committing scarce regional orbs; each weapon has its own costs and effects.
Use the Forge requirement to plan hunts, rather than collecting a random mix of orb types.
Repeat, collect and use
Limit Break can be applied again when the weapon offers another enhancement and you have its listed materials; each spend is limited by the weapon’s available progression.
Common mistakes
Assuming every weapon uses the same orb cost: inspect each weapon’s displayed requirements.
Hunting in the wrong region: match the required Core Orb type to the hunt region.
Spending on a weapon you will replace: decide your target build before committing orbs.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the chosen weapon reaches the desired enhancement or its available Limit Break options are exhausted.
