Before you go
- Reach the post-story Limit Break progression.
- Collect Core Orbs from successful Volatile Kemono hunts.
- Choose an armor piece with an available enhancement.
Farming steps
- Open the Forge and select the armor piece you plan to use.
- Review the Limit Break option and the resilience change shown.
- Record the exact Core Orb type and quantity required.
- If you need more, select a Volatile hunt in the region associated with that orb.
- Complete the hunt and collect its reward.
- Return to the Forge and confirm the armor piece and displayed cost.
- Apply the upgrade and check the updated armor information.
- Inspect the listed cost for each piece; requirements are item-specific.
- Prioritize armor you expect to keep wearing before spending regional orbs.
Repeat, collect and use
Enhance again only if the selected armor offers another Limit Break and you can meet its displayed material cost; progression is bounded by that piece’s available upgrades.
Common mistakes
- Assuming the weapon’s orb cost also applies to armor: read the armor piece’s own requirement.
- Farming the wrong region: choose the hunt based on the orb type shown at the Forge.
- Investing before settling on a loadout: compare the piece with your current armor plan.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the piece has the resilience improvement you want or no further enhancement is available; switch to another piece only after checking its cost.
