WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Blacksmith Embedment service on a battlefield or in the Hidden Village at Mt. Tianzhushan.
At the blacksmith, Embedment removes an existing jewel for fragments, lets you create a jewel with a chosen effect, and places it in an open slot. Equipment rarity determines how many slots it has. Rare special effects can yield Jewelry Essence when extracted, so inspect valuable gear before changing it.
Have equipment with an open slot or a jewel you are willing to extract.
Have jewel fragments and Copper for creating the desired jewel.
Open the blacksmith’s Embedment menu and select the equipment piece to customize.
Review its rarity and open slots to confirm the effect can be placed.
If needed, select an occupied slot and extract its jewel; this removes the effect and returns fragments.
Choose the effect you want and create its jewel using the displayed fragments and Copper cost.
Select an empty slot and embed the created jewel.
Inspect the equipment to confirm the special effect is present.
Before extracting a rare effect, check whether the menu grants Jewelry Essence and whether you want to preserve that build option.
Farming tips
Keep the pieces that define your current build and customize those before spending fragments on temporary gear.
The slot count depends on rarity, so a missing slot cannot be fixed by collecting more fragments.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable whenever you have fragments, Copper, and a compatible open slot. Extracting and creating effects consumes or returns materials according to the menu.
Common mistakes
Trying to embed into a full piece: extract an existing jewel first or choose gear with an open slot.
Assuming every rarity has the same capacity: check the item’s slots before preparing a jewel.
Removing a rare effect without review: inspect the displayed extraction result for Jewelry Essence first.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the chosen equipment has the effects your build needs or the next change costs more fragments and Copper than it is worth.
