Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Choose a dense herb route in a zone you can traverse safely.
  2. Gather each Midnight herb node along the circuit; Lotus is bonus loot, not a separate node.
  3. Use Perception on your tool or through available consumables to improve rare-resource chances.
  4. If you have unlocked Imbued Mulch, apply it before a gather where you want its guaranteed rare reagent.
  5. Continue the route to collect ordinary herbs for your own recipes or sale.
  6. Alchemists may check Lyrendal in Silvermoon for Master Alchemist’s Surplus Reagents if they have 600 Artisan Moxie.

Repeat, collect and use

Herb gathering can be repeated. Imbued Mulch is limited by its hourly use; the surplus-reagent purchase costs Moxie and is not a gathering loop.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting every node to yield Lotus leads to disappointment; it is rare bonus loot unless using Mulch.
  • Using Mulch without its unlock or required Bloom will not work; check the specialization and inventory first.
  • Spending Perception on a sparse route reduces gathering opportunities; use a circuit with many nodes.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have the Lotus required for your recipes or sale, or when you have used the hourly Mulch opportunity and want to return later.
