Nocturnal Lotus is a rare reagent used in Midnight flasks and cauldrons. Herbalists can gather it as bonus loot; Alchemists also have a surplus-reagent option.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Any Midnight zone herb node; the Blinding Bloom in Harandar and the zone routes are suitable circuits.
There is no dedicated Lotus spawn route. Gather Midnight herbs efficiently and improve the chance of bonus rare resources. Use a dense herb circuit for ordinary materials, and save Imbued Mulch for a chosen gather when you want its guaranteed rare reagent.
Eversong Woods herb and ore gathering loop. Follow the pale route line through the zone; the translated landmarks and neighboring regions help orient your journey.

How to farm
Before you go
Midnight Herbalism and access to Midnight zones.
Optional: Perception from profession gear, enchantments, or consumables.
Optional: 20 knowledge in Botany’s Mulching specialization and 10 Tranquility Bloom for Imbued Mulch.
Choose a dense herb route in a zone you can traverse safely.
Gather each Midnight herb node along the circuit; Lotus is bonus loot, not a separate node.
Use Perception on your tool or through available consumables to improve rare-resource chances.
If you have unlocked Imbued Mulch, apply it before a gather where you want its guaranteed rare reagent.
Continue the route to collect ordinary herbs for your own recipes or sale.
Alchemists may check Lyrendal in Silvermoon for Master Alchemist’s Surplus Reagents if they have 600 Artisan Moxie.
Farming tips
Imbued Mulch costs 10 Tranquility Bloom and has an hourly use limit; plan its use around a node you can reach.
Gathering more nodes creates more chances for bonus loot, while Perception improves those chances.
Repeat, collect and use
Herb gathering can be repeated. Imbued Mulch is limited by its hourly use; the surplus-reagent purchase costs Moxie and is not a gathering loop.
Common mistakes
Expecting every node to yield Lotus leads to disappointment; it is rare bonus loot unless using Mulch.
Using Mulch without its unlock or required Bloom will not work; check the specialization and inventory first.
Spending Perception on a sparse route reduces gathering opportunities; use a circuit with many nodes.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the Lotus required for your recipes or sale, or when you have used the hourly Mulch opportunity and want to return later.
