WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Open-world Tacet Discord locations found through the Guidebook or Echo gallery.
Open-world Tacet Discords offer Echo hunting without a Waveplate reward claim. Pick an Echo whose Sonata set suits the intended Resonator, use the in-game Guidebook or Echo gallery to locate eligible enemies, then defeat and absorb them. Results depend on Data Bank progression, so this is a repeatable attempt route rather than a guaranteed piece. Check drops as you go and stop once the build has usable pieces or the route stops serving the target.
Before you go Identify a target Echo type and Sonata set that fits a build. Raise Data Bank progression enough for the Echo rarity you want to pursue. Have access to the enemy locations listed by the in-game tracker. Make room to review or manage collected Echoes. Open the Echo gallery or Guidebook and select an Echo type associated with the target Sonata set. Use its listed location or tracking function to travel to an eligible open-world Tacet Discord. Defeat the enemy and absorb an Echo when one becomes available. Inspect its Sonata and main stat in the Echo inventory rather than assuming every result is useful. Follow the tracker to another eligible enemy of the target type and repeat the fight-and-absorb loop. Manage unwanted Echoes and preserve pieces that fit the build’s set and slot needs. If the local spawns are exhausted, move to another tracked enemy location or use an available co-op world for more open-world attempts. Farming tips Data Bank progression affects possible Echo outcomes; increase it if rarity is the main goal. Open-world Echo hunting does not spend Waveplates, unlike Tacet Field reward claims. Repeat, collect and use Repeat as eligible overworld enemies respawn. Co-op can provide additional enemy spawns when available; Echo results are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes Expecting every enemy to drop an Echo: treat each defeat as an attempt and keep tracking eligible spawns. Farming a set without naming a target build: choose the Sonata effect first, then hunt relevant Echo types. Confusing field claims with overworld drops: spend Waveplates only for Tacet Field rewards, not for overworld absorption. When to stop or switch Stop when the build has usable Echoes for its planned slots, Data Bank progression is the more pressing need, or another target better uses your time.
