The Simulacrum Nexus Tacet Discord Nest is a named location where Autopuppet enemies support two useful goals: Echo hunting and collecting Kernel materials for upgrades. Defeating overworld enemies gives Echo attempts and enemy drops; any Waveplate claim is a separate activity reward, so inspect the interface instead of assuming every nest clear uses stamina. Use the target enemy entries and inventory to keep the route focused.
Unlock the Nexus and reach the Nest through region exploration.
Check the Autopuppet Kernel tier needed by the character you are upgrading.
Have Waveplates only if the activity offers a reward you intend to claim.
Travel to the named Simulacrum Nexus Tacet Discord Nest from the region map or discovered location.
Identify the Autopuppet enemies in the nest and defeat them.
Collect their enemy drops and absorb any available Echoes; Echo rarity and results depend on Data Bank progression.
Open the inventory and count each Kernel tier separately against the live character requirement.
Use Synthesis for lower-tier Kernel conversion only after checking the required recipe and your remaining lower-tier demand.
If an activity reward prompt appears, inspect its contents and Waveplate cost before claiming; the overworld drops do not require that claim.
Leave once the nest is cleared and repeat later if you still need enemy drops or Echo attempts.
Farming tips
Hsin uses Kernel materials in both ascension and Forte, so protect the lower tiers she still needs before converting upward.
The Nest can advance Echo and enemy-material goals together, but only spend Waveplates for a listed reward you actually want.
Repeat, collect and use
Overworld enemy farming can be repeated when the enemies respawn; a Waveplate reward claim, if offered, is a separate limited-by-Waveplates loop.
Common mistakes
Conflating enemy drops with a Waveplate claim: collect the overworld drops first and evaluate any claim separately.
Synthesizing every low tier immediately: count the target’s lower-tier needs before converting.
Expecting an Echo from every enemy: treat Echoes as possible drops and continue only while the route is useful.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Kernel tiers meet the planned upgrade requirement and you have enough Echo attempts or usable pieces; switch targets if either goal is complete.
