Where to farm
Autopuppet Tacet Discords in Mengzhou, including Kernel Puppet, Porcelain Picket, Stone Picket, and Aureate Picket.
Autopuppet enemies in Mengzhou drop LF, MF, HF, and FF Autopuppet Kernels. Hsin needs several tiers across both ascension and Forte, so a useful farm tracks each tier separately instead of converting everything into the highest tier. Defeat eligible enemies, collect drops, and synthesize upward only when the recipe and remaining demand make the conversion worthwhile.
Open the intended Resonator’s upgrade screen and record required Kernel tiers.
Unlock Synthesis if you plan to convert lower-tier Kernels.
Leave enough lower-tier stock for upgrades that explicitly require it.
Open the Echo gallery or Guidebook and locate an Autopuppet enemy entry such as Kernel Puppet or a named Picket.
Use the listed area to travel to the enemy’s accessible Mengzhou location.
Defeat the Autopuppet Tacet Discords and collect any Kernel materials dropped.
Check your inventory after the encounter and record LF, MF, HF, and FF amounts separately.
Compare those amounts with the character’s ascension and Forte screens, including lower-tier requirements.
Open Synthesis and inspect the conversion recipe before combining materials; convert only surplus tiers needed for the next target tier.
Repeat the enemy route while a required tier remains short, then return to the upgrade screen to confirm the material is usable.
Farming tips
Hsin’s full-build totals in the current reference are 29 LF, 40 MF, 52 HF, and 61 FF; live upgrade screens should decide your actual target.
Three lower-tier pieces are used for one higher-tier Kernel in the listed conversion, so indiscriminate synthesis can create a shortage.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable through overworld Autopuppet enemy spawns as they refresh. Synthesis is a one-way inventory conversion, not a separate drop farm.
Common mistakes
Farming only FF because it is the top tier: lower tiers are also required, so track all four separately.
Converting all LF and MF upward: retain the amount your planned upgrades require before using Synthesis.
Assuming every Autopuppet appears in every area: follow the individual enemy entry’s listed location.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the target character’s displayed ascension and Forte needs are covered across all tiers, including any planned synthesis; switch to another material if one tier is no longer short.
