High Loot Stage Runs

Loot Stage affects the quality and quantity of selected containers.

PC / Global, current live version
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Higher-tier POIs and higher-risk biomes in standard PC survival worlds.

Loot Stage is one factor shaping container drops, and its value is affected by the biome, POI, container, and available bonuses. A higher-risk area can improve the stage calculation, but it also raises danger. Use this run to target containers in a POI you can handle rather than treating a high-stage location as a guaranteed upgrade.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Equipment and healing suited to the chosen POI and biome.
  • A target container or loot type in mind.
  • Inventory capacity for the run.
  1. Choose a POI whose threat level matches your current equipment and group.
  2. Check the destination biome and understand that its multiplier may affect Loot Stage.
  3. Enter the POI and search unopened containers, including any accessible locked loot room.
  4. Use Loot Bonus perks, goggles, or consumables if available and appropriate to your build.
  5. Compare finds against your current needs; loot quality is variable and no individual container is guaranteed to pay off.
  6. Return to base when loaded and sort the haul before planning another run.

Farming tips

  • Biome, POI, and container type all contribute, so changing only one factor may not transform the haul.
  • Higher danger can offset a potential loot advantage; use healing and an exit plan.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat at other suitable POIs as needed; container contents vary, and each run is a new chance rather than a guaranteed set of rewards.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming Loot Stage alone dictates every item: container type and other factors matter too.
  • Entering a dangerous biome unprepared: choose a safer POI or return with stronger gear.
  • Expecting a guaranteed rare drop: treat the run as a probability-driven supply trip.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have the target supplies or when threat and injury make another container a poor trade; switch to a safer area if needed.
