Where to farm
The randomly selected map location revealed by reading a Treasure Map.
Reading a Treasure Map turns an otherwise broad search into a focused trip to a marked location. The exact position is selected for the map, so there is no universal route. Bring a digging tool, follow the waypoint, and search the indicated area while prepared for danger during excavation.
Read the Treasure Map and note the waypoint it reveals.
Travel to the marked area and check nearby terrain before digging.
Use your digging tool to search within the marked area for the treasure chest.
Expand the excavation in controlled passes, checking the area rather than digging a huge hole at random.
Defend yourself if threats arrive and keep a clear path back to the surface.
Open the cache and collect its contents.
Return to base to sort the haul and repair or restock before another map.
Farming tips
The location is randomized, so rely on the map's waypoint instead of memorized coordinates.
Keep the excavation compact and maintain an exit path while digging.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat only when you acquire another Treasure Map; each map points to a separate cache, so this is a limited run per map rather than an endlessly reset location.
Common mistakes
Searching a memorized spot: each map selects its own location, so use the waypoint.
Digging without combat supplies: pause to prepare if the area is dangerous.
Leaving loot behind due to full inventory: clear space before traveling.
When to stop or switch
Stop digging once you locate and empty the cache, or withdraw if the excavation becomes unsafe; return only when ready to complete the search.
