Trader POI Quest Loot

Trader jobs reset a POI and refill its containers for repeatable loot.

PC / Global, current live version
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

The named Point of Interest assigned by a trader job in a standard survival world.

A trader job combines an objective, a named Point of Interest, and a fresh container run. Starting the quest at its marker resets the POI containers, so you can loot during the objective and collect the quest reward after completion. The specific building and job rules depend on the selected quest and world settings.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A trader job for a POI you can reach.
  • Weapons, healing, and tools suited to the building's tier.
  • Enough inventory space for loot and the reward.
  1. At a trader, review available jobs and choose a named POI suited to your gear.
  2. Travel to the POI and activate the job at its quest marker; this resets the site's containers.
  3. Follow the objective through the building, opening containers as you progress.
  4. Collect useful loot while remaining within the quest area and completing the marked objective.
  5. Finish the objective, return to the trader, and claim the reward.
  6. Sort the haul at base and note which supplies justify another run at a similar tier.

Farming tips

  • Tier-match the POI to your current equipment and group size; dense threats can make a large building costly.
  • Leave room for both container loot and the job reward before starting.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat with another eligible trader job; each quest activation resets its named POI, but the same location may not be offered immediately.

Common mistakes

  • Looting before activating the marker: activate first so the quest reset applies.
  • Leaving the quest radius or dying: stay within the marked area and keep an escape route.
  • Choosing a tier beyond your gear: take a manageable job instead of treating every reset as a safe loot run.

When to stop or switch

Stop the run if survival becomes doubtful or inventory is full; otherwise finish the objective and switch to a lower-tier job when the current tier is too costly.
