WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Central island of Ancient Lands, available after the four Drake island quests complete the shared objective.
The central Fire Drake is an expedition milestone gated by a shared objective across four Drake-marked islands. Each island quest must be completed; defeating a Drake alone does not substitute for finishing its island objective. Once central access opens, the party can fight the boss, claim rewards and exit to the original world map.
Before you go Access to Ancient Lands and a coordinated party capable of handling the central boss. A plan to complete all four Drake island quests and survive the route between them. Inventory space and gear appropriate to the instance’s current PvP and loot rules. Enter Ancient Lands through a portal sized for your group. Locate a Drake-marked island and complete its island quest, including its objective requirements. Repeat the quest on the remaining Drake-marked islands until all four are complete. Watch for the central island to open after the shared objective completes. Travel to the central island with your group and engage the Fire Drake using your available combat roles. Defeat the boss and collect its reward, keeping in mind that item outcomes are not guaranteed. Use the central exit to return to the original open-world region, or leave through an outer entry portal if needed. Farming tips Track island quest completion separately from Drake kills; both can matter to finishing the shared objective. Decide in advance who carries rewards and when to exit, since extending the expedition adds exposure. Repeat, collect and use The shared objective can be completed again in a later expedition; each central encounter is a new reward opportunity, not a guaranteed item.
Common mistakes Treating a Drake kill as proof that its island quest is finished; confirm the objective before moving on. Rushing to the center before the shared condition is complete; complete all four island quests first. Staying after the reward with a full inventory; exit and secure loot. When to stop or switch After claiming the central reward, exit; if the party cannot safely finish all four quests, bank what it has and end the run.
