WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Mountain biome around Fort Sterling, selecting zones and tiers you can harvest with the in-game map filters.

Gather ore from Mountain biome zones and turn it into a stock of raw material for sale or later refining. The route prioritizes ore, the biome’s primary resource, but actual node availability and safety vary by map and by competition.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • An ore tool and Destiny Board unlock appropriate to the tier you intend to gather.
  • A mount and gathering gear suited to the zone’s risk and your carry capacity.
  • A bank destination and a plan to sell, store or refine the ore.
  1. Open the world map and filter for ore and a tier your tool can gather.
  2. Choose a Mountain zone that fits your tool tier and risk tolerance.
  3. Ride a short sweep between visible ore nodes, prioritizing enchanted nodes you can harvest.
  4. Gather stone or fiber only if the detour and remaining carry capacity justify it.
  5. Watch the minimap and return toward town when hostile traffic or weight rises.
  6. Deposit the ore in Fort Sterling or another market you have chosen.
  7. Compare selling raw ore with refining it where the current market and refining access make sense.

Farming tips

  • Mountain also contains stone and fiber; keeping ore as the priority makes the run easier to value.
  • A tool one tier below a node can gather it more slowly, but a tool two tiers below cannot gather it.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable: gather another zone sweep as nodes are available; depleted nodes replenish over time, and competition changes what you find.

Common mistakes

  • Riding into zones above the tool’s capability; select a tier you can actually harvest.
  • Filling the mount with low-priority materials before finding ore; maintain the route’s ore focus.
  • Refining without checking costs and market prices; compare the finished material’s value before processing.

When to stop or switch

Bank when your ore load approaches the amount you can safely carry, or switch to a safer tier if hostile activity rises.
