Where to farm

Mists zones where Hemp Dryads appear; use a resource map or in-game search to identify suitable locations.

Hemp Dryads are T4 resource creatures found in the Mists and open world. They hold fiber that becomes available after the creature is defeated, so this target combines a manageable fight with gathering rather than a sweep of ordinary fiber nodes. Harvest the body with the matching tool, collect the fiber, and decide whether to continue based on your remaining capacity and the Mists’ player pressure.

How to farm

Before you go

A T4-capable fiber gathering tool and the matching Destiny Board unlock.
A solo combat set able to defeat the dryad.
An inventory and mount plan that leaves room for fiber and matches the Mists’ risk.

Enter a Mists area that fits the amount of risk you are prepared to accept.
Search for a Hemp Dryad and check nearby players before starting the fight.
Defeat the dryad; its fiber cannot be harvested while it remains alive.
Use your fiber tool on the defeated resource creature.
Collect the harvested fiber and check your load before searching for another target.
Continue to another dryad only while your set, capacity, and local conditions remain suitable.
Return to safety and bank the fiber, then refine it or sell it according to your crafting plan.

Farming tips

Bring the gathering tool before entering; combat gear alone cannot collect the dryad’s resource.
Keep the minimap and nearby players in view while fighting, since harvesting keeps you exposed in the Mists.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable when more Hemp Dryads are available, but each target must be defeated and harvested; stock and competition vary.

Common mistakes

Looking for a fiber node instead of the resource creature; search for Hemp Dryads.
Trying to harvest before killing the dryad; defeat it first, then gather from its body.
Ignoring weight or nearby players after a harvest; bank or leave when carrying more would make the trip too risky.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your inventory reaches its planned limit, dryads are scarce or contested, or nearby player pressure makes another fight a poor risk.
