WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A greenhouse area on your base, with greenhouse structures positioned to cover the crop plots.

Greenhouse structures are useful when you want crop plots to grow faster while using less fertilizer. The practical task is to build coverage over the plots, then check the crop's in-game greenhouse display instead of assuming that a roof alone gives the intended bonus. Expand the farm only after you can confirm the effect and supply the plots with water, seeds, and fertilizer.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Crop plots placed in a farm area.
  • Greenhouse structures for the intended coverage.
  • Water, seeds, and fertilizer for the crops.
  1. Choose a place at base where crop plots can be grouped and maintained.
  2. Place the plots and establish their water and fertilizer supply before expanding the structure.
  3. Build greenhouse structures over the plot area, arranging coverage around the crops.
  4. Plant a seed in a plot and inspect its in-game crop information.
  5. Check the greenhouse effect shown for that plot; reposition or extend coverage if the effect is missing or lower than intended.
  6. Repeat the check on plots in different positions, since coverage should be verified rather than assumed.
  7. Add more plots only after the existing group shows the greenhouse effect you want.

Farming tips

  • Start with the smallest structure arrangement that shows a greenhouse bonus on the crop plot, then expand only if the displayed effect remains below its cap.
  • Greenhouse Effect tops out at 300%; check each plot’s displayed bonus before adding structures.

Repeat, collect and use

This is a one-time setup followed by ongoing crop production. Recheck coverage after changing the structure or moving plots; harvest and replenish crops as needed.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every greenhouse piece contributes equally at every distance: inspect each plot's display and adjust coverage.
  • Expanding plots before verifying the effect: test the first group, then scale.
  • Neglecting irrigation or fertilizer because the structure is complete: greenhouse effect does not replace crop inputs.

When to stop or switch

Stop adding greenhouse structures once the plots show the desired effect and your crop setup has reliable water and fertilizer.
