The Vault chests offer another chance at mixed gear after the Warrior. In supported editions, a DLC-map save and quit can reset the chests without requiring another boss kill.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Vault of the Warrior, after the Warrior encounter; use any accessible DLC map as the reset point.
Use this route when you want another pass through the chest rewards in the Vault of the Warrior. The reset relies on visiting a DLC map before quitting, so it requires access to one. Chest contents vary; treat this as a general loot refresh rather than a source for a specific item.
Have access to a DLC map in your edition of Borderlands 2.
Leave enough inventory space to collect gear you want to keep.
Travel to the Vault of the Warrior and open the available chests.
Inspect the contents and collect useful weapons, shields, or other gear.
Sort your inventory so you know what to keep, sell, or leave behind.
Travel from the Vault to a DLC map you can access.
Save and quit to the main menu from that DLC map.
Continue the same character, then return to the Vault of the Warrior.
Check the chests again and collect the new contents you want.
Farming tips
The reset route is edition-sensitive; confirm that your game provides access to a DLC map before relying on it.
For a particular Legendary, use its dedicated source when known; these chests are a mixed-loot route.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the DLC-map visit, save-and-quit, and return loop for additional chest rolls. Chest contents are random, and this is not a guaranteed way to obtain any particular item.
Common mistakes
Quitting while still in the Vault; travel to a DLC map first, then save and quit.
Expecting the same contents each run; inspect each chest roll and keep only useful gear.
Using the route to target a specific Legendary; switch to that item’s dedicated source when you need a focused farm.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Vault chests no longer provide useful upgrades, or switch to a dedicated farm for the item or build slot you still need.
