WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Contract boards at Kairos safehouses and major towns, including the Fadefields, Carcadia Burn and Terminus Range. Purple markers identify Vile Bounties.
Vile Bounties appear as purple contracts on boards around Kairos. Build a route from the boards that currently offer contracts, complete the marked targets, and collect their rewards. Board availability can vary, so the goal is to chain the contracts actually shown in your game rather than assume every board will have one.
Finish the story and unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.
Reach at least UVH Rank 1 for Vile Bounty availability.
Have sufficient gear for the bounty targets at your chosen UVH difficulty.
Open the map and inspect contract boards in the regions you can access.
Accept the purple Vile Bounties shown on the boards, noting each target and region.
Plan a route through the available targets, using unlocked safehouses or silos to reduce backtracking.
Travel to a bounty marker and defeat its target or complete the marked contract objective.
Collect the Eridium and reward boxes after completing each contract.
Return to the map and check other boards for more available purple contracts.
Spend the gathered Eridium at a Big Encore machine when you want another paid boss attempt.
Farming tips
The recorded route notes that Dominion boards have a low Vile Bounty chance; check other regions when its boards are empty.
Complete nearby contracts in one region before fast traveling across the map, then reassess the boards.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable as long as boards continue to offer Vile Bounties. Availability varies, so this is a contract loop rather than a guaranteed contract at every stop.
Common mistakes
Expecting each board to show a Vile Bounty: check multiple regions and take the contracts that are actually available.
Leaving reward boxes behind: collect the contract rewards and Eridium before traveling to the next target.
Spending Eridium without a priority: reserve enough for the Big Encore attempts you plan to run.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Eridium for the rematches or other intended spending, or when the boards you checked no longer offer contracts worth routing to.
