Farm the Hyperion Gift Shop after Claptrap Revolution

Before you go
- Own and access Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution DLC.
- Complete the DLC finale to reach the post-finale Gift Shop opportunity.
- Make inventory space for equipment you may want to keep or compare.
Farming steps
- Complete Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution through its finale and post-finale access.
- Travel to Tartarus Station and enter the Hyperion Gift Shop chest room.
- Clear inventory space, then open each available chest and compare the contents with your equipped gear.
- Collect promising pieces and leave unrelated low-value items behind if inventory is limited.
- Exit the room and return using the DLC’s normal map travel; check whether the containers have refreshed.
- Repeat the sweep only after confirming fresh chest contents; if they remain opened, stop and revisit later or use another target.
- Sell or store unwanted gear after the run, then stop once you have a useful upgrade or the room stops refreshing.
- This is a broad gear-comparison route, not a dedicated named-drop farm.
- Repeated Gift Shop farming after mission turn-in is reported for GOTY Enhanced; verify reset behavior in your own save.
- A full inventory can make the room less useful, so sort before traveling.
Repeat, collect and use
In GOTY Enhanced, the room can be farmed repeatedly even after turning in the finale mission; leave and return, then verify chest refresh before each new pass.
Common mistakes
- Do not confuse the Hyperion Gift Shop with the timed Crimson Armory or its cash-sell route.
- Do not claim a specific chest guarantees a legendary or particular weapon.
- Do not assume containers refreshed until you inspect them after re-entering.
When to stop or switch
Stop after a useful upgrade or when the chests have not refreshed; resume only when the room offers fresh containers.
