WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Hyperion Gift Shop chest room in Tartarus Station, after the Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution finale.
After the Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution finale, the Hyperion Gift Shop in Tartarus Station becomes a repeatable broad-loot route in GOTY Enhanced. It is useful when you want to compare many weapons and gear pieces at once rather than target one boss drop. Finish the DLC finale, travel to Tartarus Station, and open the gift-shop room’s chests. Sort the haul by whether it improves your current build, then leave the room and return for another pass. Players have confirmed repeated farming in the Enhanced edition after turning in the final mission; this is distinct from the time-limited Crimson Armory visit. Do not expect a named item from a particular chest, and do not plan around a fixed number of legendary items or a guaranteed upgrade. Make inventory room first, open the available containers systematically, and verify that the chests have refreshed on return before repeating. If a return does not reset them in your current state, leave the loop and use a targeted enemy or mission reward instead. Stop when the room no longer improves your loadout or the chests fail to refresh.
Own and access Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution DLC.
Complete the DLC finale to reach the post-finale Gift Shop opportunity.
Make inventory space for equipment you may want to keep or compare.
Complete Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution through its finale and post-finale access.
Travel to Tartarus Station and enter the Hyperion Gift Shop chest room.
Clear inventory space, then open each available chest and compare the contents with your equipped gear.
Collect promising pieces and leave unrelated low-value items behind if inventory is limited.
Exit the room and return using the DLC’s normal map travel; check whether the containers have refreshed.
Repeat the sweep only after confirming fresh chest contents; if they remain opened, stop and revisit later or use another target.
Sell or store unwanted gear after the run, then stop once you have a useful upgrade or the room stops refreshing.
Farming tips
This is a broad gear-comparison route, not a dedicated named-drop farm.
Repeated Gift Shop farming after mission turn-in is reported for GOTY Enhanced; verify reset behavior in your own save.
A full inventory can make the room less useful, so sort before traveling.
Repeat, collect and use
In GOTY Enhanced, the room can be farmed repeatedly even after turning in the finale mission; leave and return, then verify chest refresh before each new pass.
Common mistakes
Do not confuse the Hyperion Gift Shop with the timed Crimson Armory or its cash-sell route.
Do not claim a specific chest guarantees a legendary or particular weapon.
Do not assume containers refreshed until you inspect them after re-entering.
When to stop or switch
Stop after a useful upgrade or when the chests have not refreshed; resume only when the room offers fresh containers.
