Farm legendary loot during Research and Development
This multi-part route combines chests, lockers, named enemies, and a repeatable reward interaction for broad loot hunting.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Research and Development, reached from the Hyperion Hub area.
Research and Development is a general-purpose farm when you want several chances at different kinds of gear in one map. The route includes red chests and lockers, plus named enemies with associated Legendary drops. After activating the four pressure pads once, the Benjamin Blue reward portion can be repeated by leaving and re-entering the map.
Reach Research and Development through the campaign.
Bring enough ammunition and inventory space to clear enemies and collect drops.
Have a way to return to the map entrance after the first full route.
Start at the map entrance and check nearby vending machines if you need supplies.
Enter Lab 19 and defeat the Tiny Destroyer; inspect its loot for the Moonlight Saga Oz Kit.
Use a slam attack on the first pressure pad, then continue through the area.
Defeat the EX Stalker and check its drop for a Celestial Vanquisher class mod.
Fight Torques and Badass Torques and inspect their drops for the Bonus Package grenade mod.
Search the route for red chests and loot lockers as you go.
Activate all four pressure pads during the initial clear.
Return to Benjamin Blue’s cage, interact with him three times, then leave by the Hub of Heroism exit and re-enter the map to repeat his reward interaction.
Farming tips
The named drops are chances, not guaranteed results; collect other useful gear along the route as well.
Once all four pads have been activated, focus repeat visits on Benjamin Blue instead of clearing the entire map again.
Repeat, collect and use
The full map clear is repeatable, and the Benjamin Blue interaction can be repeated after the pressure pads have been activated. Leave and re-enter Research and Development to reset that interaction.
Common mistakes
Skipping pressure pads on the first clear can leave the repeat interaction unavailable; activate all four before switching to the short loop.
Expecting Benjamin Blue to give a Legendary every visit overstates the route; his reward can be non-Legendary.
Rushing past red chests and lockers loses general loot chances; check them during the first clear.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the target drop or the route’s time is better spent on a dedicated source for your remaining gear goal.
