Research points unlock buildings, vehicles, recipes and other technology. A planned lab supply lets you pursue an unlock without guessing its cost or leaving the research queue unattended.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Research Labs connected to a steady supply of research items, with the desired technology selected in the research tree.
Choose a technology in the research tree, check its displayed point cost and queue it. Labs consume eligible research items to generate progress, so the practical task is to keep the active lab supplied and allow the queued research to complete.
A Research Lab and a valid way to supply its research inputs.
A technology available in the research tree.
A functioning logistics path for items consumed by the lab.
Open the research tree and select the technology you want to unlock.
Read the cost shown for that node and check prerequisite technologies before queueing it.
Add the desired research to the queue; the current research bar indicates queued work.
Connect eligible research items to the lab and confirm that the lab is consuming them.
Watch the active research progress and lab status; resolve missing input or delivery problems if progress stops.
Allow research to finish, then verify the unlock is available in the relevant building or technology menu.
Review the next queued item and adjust the queue if priorities have changed.
Farming tips
Research costs are shown on the technology node; use that current display rather than a memorized budget.
Queued technologies run in order, and removing queued work may require removing items in queue order.
Repeat, collect and use
Research progress repeats for each technology you queue. Many unlocks are one-time; some late-game technologies are repeatable, with availability and costs shown in the game.
Common mistakes
Queueing a technology without checking its prerequisites: confirm the node is available before planning around it.
Assuming a lab progresses without research items: inspect its inputs and supply route.
Expecting all research to be a permanent one-time unlock: check whether the selected late-game item is repeatable.
When to stop or switch
Stop adding research items when the desired unlock is complete or when the lab’s inputs are needed more urgently elsewhere; resume after restoring a stable supply.
