Set up a complete mine route
Mining needs a Mine Control Tower, designated tiles within its control area, and an assigned excavator and truck; the tower alone does not extract ore.
Captain of Industry turns mining, farming and logistics into a linked industrial chain. Players survey finite deposits, assign mining areas, grow food and feed workers, and process outputs through increasingly advanced production. Demand planning matters because a shortage of food, fuel or construction materials can halt the whole settlement.

Mining needs a Mine Control Tower, designated tiles within its control area, and an assigned excavator and truck; the tower alone does not extract ore.
The Basic Farm needs dirt and rain and cannot use fertilizer. Choose a suitable farm variant when the crop plan depends on external water or fertilizer.
World Map oil rigs are outposts that must be repaired before extraction. Their deposits are finite unless world settings make them unlimited.
Food and crop management address immediate settlement needs; mining, logistics and research establish core production before the later Oil Rig expansion.
