Animal products add another food input and can support recipes that crops alone cannot provide. Plan the farm around its displayed feed needs and a useful destination for its output.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
A Chicken Farm placed near a practical feed supply and food production route.
Use the Chicken Farm as a feed-to-product production step. Connect the required inputs shown in the building’s recipe panel, then route its output to storage or a food recipe that accepts it. The specific recipe and supply needs should be checked in the current game rather than assumed.
The feed inputs currently shown for the selected farm recipe.
Storage or processing that can accept the farm’s animal product.
Unlock and place the Chicken Farm where feed deliveries and product collection can be routed.
Open its recipe or input panel and identify the feed it currently requires.
Connect the required feed supply to the farm, checking that the route can deliver the correct material.
Connect the farm’s output to appropriate storage or to a food processor recipe that accepts it.
Confirm that the output destination has capacity and that the farm is not blocked by a full buffer.
Monitor feed inventory and product flow together; add supply only when the feed line is the limiting step.
Use the live food recipe panel to confirm the product’s next use before expanding production.
Farming tips
Treat the Chicken Farm’s displayed inputs as authoritative; recipe and unlock availability can vary with progression.
Keep the feed and product routes distinct so a shortage or backup is visible.
Repeat, collect and use
The feed-to-product chain repeats while the farm has the required feed and a destination can accept the output. Collection is ongoing rather than a one-time reward.
Common mistakes
Building the farm without checking its feed needs: inspect the input panel and supply each required item.
Routing product to a recipe that does not accept it: verify the current processor recipe before connecting the line.
Expanding the farm while feed is already scarce: stabilize the input supply first.
When to stop or switch
Pause or reduce production when animal product storage is full, food demand is met, or the required feed competes with a more urgent use.
