WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Blue NCPD Scanner Hustle markers across Night City, especially Assault in Progress events.

Assault in Progress markers commonly lead to a hostile group and a valuable nearby pickup, often a container or bag tied to completing the activity. Use these events to collect equipment, then sell or dismantle what you do not need. The individual markers are finite, so this is a broad map-clear and loot route rather than a mission that endlessly respawns at the same site.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Open the map and locate a blue NCPD Scanner Hustle marker.
  • Bring a combat loadout appropriate for the marked encounter.
  • Make inventory space for weapons and crafting materials.
  1. Set the map view to show NCPD Scanner Hustles and select an Assault in Progress marker.
  2. Travel to the marker and identify the hostile group and nearby cover.
  3. Defeat the enemies while staying alert for any remaining threats around the objective area.
  4. Search the immediate area for the marked container, bag, or body required to complete the hustle.
  5. Collect the objective loot and any useful equipment from the encounter.
  6. Confirm the hustle is complete in the map or journal, then choose another uncompleted nearby marker.
  7. Review the collected gear and sell or dismantle surplus items to turn the run into usable value or components.

Farming tips

  • The valuable pickup is often the objective container or body, so search the encounter area before leaving.
  • Equipment quality can vary; collect what fits your inventory and crafting goal.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat across uncompleted Scanner Hustles. Each Assault in Progress marker is a finite local event, not an endlessly respawning cache.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving after combat without checking the objective pickup: search for the container or bag that closes the event.
  • Confusing random equipment with guaranteed loot: the specific item and quality can vary.
  • Returning to a cleared marker expecting a fresh event: move to another uncompleted hustle.

When to stop or switch

Stop once nearby markers are cleared or you have enough loot and components for your current goal.
