WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Blue NCPD Scanner Hustle markers labeled Reported Crime across Night City.

Reported Crime hustles differ from a straightforward fight: the initial scene contains clues that can lead to a body or another loot location. Follow the evidence and journal objective rather than leaving after the first search. The activity is a finite local event, but its pickup can provide equipment or other valuable loot. Use it when clearing NCPD markers and process the recovered gear according to your build and crafting needs.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach an uncompleted Reported Crime marker on the map.
  • Have inventory space for the resulting loot.
  • Be prepared to search the crime scene and follow the journal objective.
  1. Select a Reported Crime marker from the map and travel to the scene.
  2. Inspect the nearby clue or evidence prompt that starts the activity’s trail.
  3. Read the journal update for the next location or search objective.
  4. Follow the displayed objective to the body or associated loot site.
  5. Search the body, container, or evidence pickup identified by the objective.
  6. Collect the loot and confirm the hustle updates or completes in the journal.
  7. Review any recovered equipment and keep, sell, or dismantle it based on your current goal.

Farming tips

  • Reported Crime activities often direct you from a corpse or clue to another loot location; follow the journal update before leaving.
  • Use the marker’s journal entry to track the next step if the target is not beside the initial scene.

Repeat, collect and use

Each Reported Crime marker is a finite activity. Repeat the method on other uncompleted reports; an already cleared report does not provide an endless loot loop.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving after finding the first body: inspect clues and follow the journal’s next objective.
  • Searching only the initial scene: the valuable pickup may be elsewhere in the evidence trail.
  • Expecting a guaranteed equipment quality: loot quality and item outcomes can vary.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the journal marks the report complete and you have collected its evidence-linked loot; move to another uncompleted marker for more.
