Access Points can award Quickhack Components when you complete Breach Protocol sequences that include the component reward. Their value is practical: check them as you move through gigs, jobs, and NCPD areas, instead of making a separate trip for every terminal. The reward options can vary, so inspect each point before choosing a sequence. This method is repeatable across additional accessible Access Points, though each terminal is a single interaction and the available payout is not uniform.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Have a Cyberdeck equipped so you can interact with Access Points.
  • Meet the access requirement displayed at the terminal.
  • Have Quickhack Components as a current crafting goal, so you can track whether the route is useful.
  1. While following a gig, job, or Scanner Hustle, scan nearby rooms and spaces for an Access Point.
  2. Approach a point and check its displayed access requirement; move on if you cannot meet it.
  3. Open the Breach Protocol interaction and review the rewards available at that specific point.
  4. Choose a sequence that uploads Quickhack Components when that reward is offered.
  5. Follow the sequence shown on screen and complete the breach.
  6. Confirm the components were added to your crafting stock before leaving.
  7. Continue through the activity area and check other accessible Access Points along the way.

Farming tips

  • Fold terminal checks into activities already on your route to reduce extra travel.
  • Inspect the reward options before committing; component rewards are not listed at every point.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat at other accessible Access Points. Each terminal can be used once; continue with newly encountered points while they remain available.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every terminal offers Quickhack Components: check its reward options and skip it if the component reward is absent.
  • Ignoring the displayed access requirement: meet it or spend your time at another point.
  • Expecting the same payout at every Access Point: rewards depend on the available sequence and progression.
