WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Your Cyberdeck quickhack inventory and item management screen.
If you have quickhacks you do not use, disassembling them can return Quickhack Components for crafting. This is a simple processing step, not an enemy or location farm: obtain hacks through normal play, then review your collection before dismantling. The action is irreversible, so check the individual hack and its tier before confirming. Component returns can vary with progression or game version, and duplicates are safer candidates than a hack you may want to equip.
Have duplicate or unwanted quickhacks in inventory.
Know which hacks are equipped or intended for a build before dismantling.
Have a specific crafting or upgrade need for the returned components.
Open the Cyberdeck or quickhack inventory screen.
Sort or review the quickhacks and identify true duplicates and hacks you do not plan to use.
Check equipped slots and any build loadouts before selecting items.
Choose a duplicate quickhack and read the dismantle confirmation and listed return.
Confirm dismantling only for the hack you intend to convert.
Repeat with other surplus hacks, keeping one copy of useful or rare options.
Open crafting or upgrade inventory to verify the component stock and use it toward the intended quickhack.
Farming tips
Keep a copy of quickhacks you use or may want for another build before dismantling duplicates.
Treat the displayed dismantle return as authoritative for your current character and version.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat as new duplicate or unwanted quickhacks are acquired. The supply is limited by what you loot or obtain; dismantling consumes each selected hack.
Common mistakes
Dismantling an equipped or useful hack: remove it from the candidate list and retain a build copy.
Assuming a fixed component yield: check the return shown in the interface before confirming.
Confusing duplicate collection with limitless supply: each dismantled hack is permanently consumed.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the required component stock is reached or only hacks you intend to keep remain.
