WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Unlocked Giant Memories in Forest of Fallen Giants, including Memory of Vammar, Memory of Orro, and Memory of Jeigh.
The Ashen Mist Heart opens several memories of the ancients in Forest of Fallen Giants. These are exploration runs, not an unlimited supply of memory loot: many valuable items are fixed pickups, and Ascetics do not restore Giant Souls. Use the unlocked memories to collect the large soul consumables you missed, then choose the Giant Lord route when you want a repeatable boss payout. Consuming a soul item converts it into currency; collecting it alone does not.
Ashen Mist Heart and access to the fallen giant trees.
A route to the relevant memory entrance.
A plan for leaving before the memory’s time limit expires.
Visit a fallen giant tree you have unlocked and interact with it using the Ashen Mist Heart.
Check the memory entrance and identify the nearby exit point before pushing deeper.
Search reachable rooms and side passages for soul consumables, opening chests only when it is safe to do so.
Collect each wanted item and avoid fighting optional enemies when they block neither the route nor a target pickup.
Leave through the memory exit or use an available return method before the memory expires.
Use collected soul items from inventory when you need currency; retain any boss soul needed for a trade or other purpose.
For a repeatable large boss award, enter Memory of Jeigh and defeat the Giant Lord; reset that boss with an Ascetic at The Place Unbeknownst.
Farming tips
Memory of Vammar and Memory of Orro contain their own routes and threats; do not assume a pickup in one memory appears in another.
Ascetics restore eligible enemies and items, but unique memory rewards and Giant Souls are not a dependable repeat source.
Repeat, collect and use
Memory exploration can be repeated while the time limit permits, but fixed consumables are limited. Giant Lord kills are repeatable only by spending an Ascetic and accepting higher local intensity.
Common mistakes
Treating every memory item as renewable; collect fixed soul items once and use the Giant Lord only for the repeatable boss reward.
Entering without knowing how to exit; locate the return point early and leave before the timer runs out.
Burning an Ascetic to restore a Giant Soul; it does not reset, so reserve Ascetics for eligible boss and enemy content.
When to stop or switch
Finish collecting the specific fixed soul items you need, then switch to Giant Lord runs only if you accept the permanent intensity increase.
