WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Aldrich bonfire in Anor Londo; the nearby Deacons on the short route outside.
Deacons on the route near Aldrich’s bonfire in Anor Londo can drop Human Dregs. The offline method repeats their nearby route and resets at the bonfire. A Deacon kill is not a guaranteed offering, so collect each drop and compare your count with the covenant reward goal. Offer the Dregs to Archdeacon McDonnell in the water area below the Anor Londo approach.
Join Aldrich Faithful if you intend to progress its rank rewards.
Bring a weapon and healing setup suited to the Deacons.
Know the route down to Archdeacon McDonnell for turn-ins.
Equip Aldrich Faithful if you are also open to online defense summons.
Rest at Aldrich bonfire and move out along the nearby Deacon route.
Defeat the Deacons within reach of the short loop, keeping the approach manageable.
Check each enemy for a Human Dreg and collect any that appear.
Return to the bonfire, rest to reset the Deacons, and repeat if you need more offerings.
When you reach the desired count, descend to the water area below Anor Londo.
Find Archdeacon McDonnell and offer the Dregs to receive the corresponding rank progress.
Farming tips
Online defense summons can also award Human Dregs, so the offline route is most useful when you prefer solo play.
Do not count a Deacon as a Dreg; confirm each random drop in your inventory.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the nearby Deacon route after each bonfire rest; each Dreg is a random enemy drop. Covenant rewards are claimed by offering the collected items.
Common mistakes
Searching for McDonnell at the bonfire: the turn-in location is down in the water area.
Expecting every Deacon to drop a Dreg: continue the loop until the actual target count is met.
Forgetting to join Aldrich Faithful before rank progression: equip or join the covenant before turning in.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the offering count for the Aldrich Faithful reward you want, or switch to online defense summons if available.
