Where to farm
Along the shortcut between Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith, at the respawning Prowling Demon location.
Demon Titanite is used to reinforce weapons made from boss souls. A Prowling Demon along the Lost Izalith shortcut can be fought repeatedly and provides Demon Titanite, making it a concrete target when a boss weapon needs further upgrades. This is not an ordinary low-risk enemy loop: the demon hits hard, and the route is late-game. Prepare your chosen combat approach, collect the material after each victory, and reset at a bonfire before returning for another attempt.
Reach the Demon Ruins and open the route toward Lost Izalith.
Bring a weapon or spell that can safely damage the Prowling Demon.
Carry healing and sufficient durability for repeated boss-like encounters.
Optional: equip the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring if souls from the fight are also useful.
Travel to the shortcut area between Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith.
Approach the Prowling Demon with enough space to maneuver and avoid its attacks.
Defeat the demon using the attack pattern and distance that work for your build.
Collect the Demon Titanite reward and confirm it is in your inventory.
Return to a bonfire and rest to reset the respawning demon.
Repeat only while you still need Demon Titanite for a boss-weapon upgrade.
Farming tips
Demon Titanite is for boss-soul weapons; ordinary weapons use other Titanite paths, so check your target before farming.
The encounter also yields souls, but prioritize surviving and collecting the material over extending the route.
Repeat, collect and use
This Prowling Demon respawns after resting, allowing repeated Demon Titanite runs. Collect the reward from each successful kill; do not confuse this with finite non-respawning demons elsewhere.
Common mistakes
Fighting without room to dodge: draw the demon into open space rather than being trapped against terrain.
Assuming all Prowling Demons respawn: use the specific shortcut-area demon described here.
Continuing after the boss weapon has reached its target level: stop once the required material count is met.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your selected boss-soul weapon has the Demon Titanite needed for its next reinforcement, or switch goals if the encounter is too costly.
