WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Equip it from the ring menu before starting a route such as the Silver Knight circuit in Anor Londo.
The Covetous Silver Serpent Ring is a soul-gain tool, not an item-farming tool. Equip it before a repeatable route and enemy kills award more souls, which can shorten the number of runs needed for a level or purchase. The ring is found in Tomb of the Giants, so this is a later-game preparation step; once obtained, it can be used on safer routes elsewhere. Choose a circuit you can complete without frequent deaths, because extra souls do not help if they are lost before spending them.
Find the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring in Tomb of the Giants.
Have access to a repeatable enemy route with a nearby bonfire.
Keep a ring slot free for the farming run.
Open the equipment menu before leaving the bonfire.
Equip the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring in an available ring slot.
Clear the chosen enemies using the route you can perform most safely.
Collect the souls from kills and avoid detours that add unnecessary risk.
Return to the bonfire, rest, and spend the souls before they are exposed to loss.
Repeat the same route with the ring equipped while the souls remain your goal.
Farming tips
The ring increases soul rewards; it does not raise Item Discovery or improve Humanity and Titanite drop odds.
The Symbol of Avarice can also increase soul gain but drains health, so the ring is often a simpler choice for longer runs.
Repeat, collect and use
The ring can be equipped for any number of runs. The route itself resets when you rest at a bonfire; the ring does not create a separate reward or one-time payout.
Common mistakes
Expecting the ring to improve drops: use Item Discovery equipment for enemy item farming instead.
Entering a dangerous route just because the ring is equipped: select a familiar circuit and prioritize reaching a bonfire.
Forgetting to spend souls between runs: use them on levels, purchases, or upgrades before pushing farther.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the souls for the intended purchase or level, or remove the ring if another ring is more valuable for the next challenge.
