Collect occasional gear drops from regular Glyphids

Regular Glyphids provide a secondary, chance-based gear source when a run does not center on a Dreadnought.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Combat encounters during any dive with regular Glyphids

Regular Glyphids have a smaller chance to drop gear when killed. This makes routine combat a possible source of extra equipment, but it is not a dependable substitute for the guaranteed Dreadnought gear drop in Elimination. Use this as incidental collection during a mission you already intend to complete: fight along the route, look for a dropped item, and pick it up. Do not extend a risky run or expect a particular rarity for this chance-based target.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Start a mission you can clear without relying on random gear drops.
  • Have a build able to handle the enemies along the route.
  • Be ready to collect visible gear drops before advancing or extracting.
  1. Choose a dive based on its mission objective, not on a promised enemy drop.
  2. Advance through the stage and fight Glyphids encountered along the route.
  3. After combat, scan the area for a gear piece among the drops.
  4. Move over to collect gear you find before leaving the area.
  5. Continue the mission rather than waiting for additional enemies specifically for gear.
  6. Finish the objective and extract to bank the run.
  7. Review collected equipment between dives and equip a useful improvement.

Farming tips

  • Treat this as bonus gear: the chance is smaller than the guaranteed Elimination Dreadnought drop.
  • If dependable gear is the main goal, choose an Elimination dive and target its Dreadnought.

Repeat, collect and use

This is repeatable across dives, but each regular Glyphid drop is chance-based and no gear item is guaranteed from a particular enemy or run.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every kill yields gear: ordinary enemy drops are a smaller chance.
  • Camping for more enemies: continue the objective and let combat happen naturally.
  • Leaving a visible item behind: check the area before advancing.

When to stop or switch

Stop treating regular enemies as a gear farm when combat slows your mission progress; switch to Elimination boss encounters for a guaranteed boss gear piece.
