Where to farm
Elimination mission track in the selected biome
Use an Elimination dive when your goal is a reliable gear pickup. The gear comes from the Dreadnought itself, so plan to finish the encounter and collect its drop before leaving or moving on. This is the PC full-release campaign track; regular enemy gear drops are a separate, less reliable source.
Choose an Elimination mission and reach its Dreadnought encounter.
Bring a build you can use to survive the chosen sector and boss fight.
Leave room in your route to collect the dropped item after the kill.
Select an Elimination mission from the campaign track.
Check the sector goal and choose a difficulty you can reasonably clear.
Fight and mine along the stage path, taking upgrades that help your current build.
Reach the Dreadnought encounter and focus on completing the boss objective.
After the Dreadnought dies, move over to collect the gear piece it drops.
Finish the stage objective, then continue or extract according to the track.
Between dives, review the new gear and equip or improve it if it suits your build.
Farming tips
Treat the boss drop as the reliable target; ordinary Glyphids have only a smaller chance to drop gear.
Collect the item before leaving the encounter area so the guaranteed reward is not overlooked.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Elimination dives for another boss gear drop each time you defeat a Dreadnought. Gear quality can vary with progression; no specific item or rarity is guaranteed here.
Common mistakes
Leaving immediately after the kill: check the boss’s drop location and collect the item first.
Assuming every enemy guarantees gear: the documented guarantee applies to the Dreadnought, while ordinary enemies are less reliable.
Choosing a sector beyond your current build: use a clearable mission so you can bank the run and its reward.
When to stop or switch
Stop this farm when you have a useful gear piece for your current build, or switch to a different objective if the chosen Elimination sector is no longer a safe clear.
